Meet the staff of the
Wellness Treatment Center
Our highly qualified multidisciplinary staff consists of
mental health and wellness professionals who work
together to provide the most effective treatment and
wellness training.
Louis L. Bruno, M.D.
Dr. Louis Bruno has been the Medical
Director of three mental health centers including the
Wellness Treatment Center. The Wellness Treatment Center
represents the most recent effort by Dr. Bruno and his
staff to develop more effective treatment modalities for
people whose lives have been affected by serious mental
health issues. This program brings together some of the
most well-established treatment tools along with an
integrated wellness program allowing clients to move
from disharmony and crisis to happier, healthier lives.
Dr. Bruno is also Medical Director of Community Care
Corporation, a licensed community mental health clinic
in the state of Colorado since 1980. Under his
direction, CC has become highly respected both locally
and nationally in the treatment of severe and persistent
mental illness, including people who are dually
diagnosed. Utilizing a unique community support
treatment model integrated with a wellness philosophy,
he has been very successful helping these people lead
normalized and productive lives.
After devoting much of his career to this effort, Dr.
Bruno has presented at many national conferences and
training sessions to teach his treatment approaches and
philosophy.
Robert B. Cowan, M.D.
Dr. Cowan has been in the private practice of psychiatry
in Denver since 1982, focusing on psychotherapy and
medication management in both clear and complex
situations. His experience includes medical school
teaching, serving as a director of inpatient services
and a wide variety of consulting roles. His approach is
pragmatic, problem oriented, family focused, and
dedicated to helping patients optimize their level of

Linda Willits, RxN, CNS
Linda Willits has been a psychiatric
nurse for 26 years. She received her master’s degree in
psychiatric and mental health nursing in 1996 and
transitioned to the clinical nurse specialist role. She
has experience with inpatient work, case management, and
crisis intervention. After working for years at
University Hospital, she has been in private practice in
Denver since 2000, providing therapy and medication
management. Linda has been leading Dialectical Behavior
Therapy (DBT) skills groups since 1998. Since then, she
has also provided workshops and consultation on DBT for
other area clinicians and is enthusiastic about this
treatment modality.
Diane Sieg, RN, CYT, CSP
From the chaos of the emergency room to the calm of her
yoga mat, Diane Sieg gives life-saving strategies for
the overworked and overwhelmed. She is passionate about
helping people create balance in their lives by creating
physical, mental, and emotional well-being through
intentional lifestyle choices. After working as an
emergency room nurse for over 20 years, today Diane is a
professional speaker, published author, life coach, and
certified yoga teacher, and will help you take care,
take charge, and take action in your life. She
facilitates the lifestyle-coaching and stress-management
groups at the Wellness Treatment Center.
Margaret Meinecke, LCSW, CAC III
Margaret Meinecke is a licensed Clinical
Social Worker in private practice in Littleton,
Colorado. Her private practice work includes
insight-oriented therapies, cognitive-behavioral work
with individuals and families, social and relationship
skills, crisis intervention, and trauma recovery work.
She is state certified as an addictions specialist (CAC
III) providing clinical assessment and treatment for
clients dependent on drugs, alcohol, self-harming
behaviors, or destructive relationships.
Arnica Buckner, Ph.D.
Dr. Arnica Buckner earned her doctorate in clinical
psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder
and is currently in private practice in Denver. She
specializes in the provision of evidence-based behavior
therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
(ACT), Behavioral Activation (BA), and Dialectical
Behavior Therapy (DBT). Dr. Buckner has experience
providing individual and group therapy for a variety of
psychological difficulties including mood and anxiety
disorders, eating disorders, and personality disorders.
Her intention as a therapist is to help those she works
with to balance acceptance and change in order to move
toward a fuller, more meaningful life.
