Christine has worked in the mental health field since 2000. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor with Master’s degrees in Clinical Counseling and Sociology. In her private practice she works with individuals, couples and groups and specializes in depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. Christine’s therapeutic approach is grounded in mindfulness-based cognitive behavior therapies, especially Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Christine offers ACT workshops to the public and ACT trainings to mental health professionals. Her professional background includes: working as a Crisis Clinician with Metro Crisis Services; training mental health consumers in wellness, leadership and advocacy through Mental Health America of Colorado; and serving as Program Director of WINGS Foundation which provides support groups for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
